TotalEnergies in Mexico City seeks an Electrical Controls Engineer to design and implement electrical controls for process equipment. You will develop schematics, panel layouts, write PLC and robot programs, and oversee installs with vendors, ensuring safety and adherence to standards.

The role requires 4–7 years of experience in electrical design, collaboration with maintenance, and a focus on reliability and efficiency. This position offers growth and exposure to global energy projects.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with 4–7 years of related experience.
• Experience designing electrical controls, schematics, panel layouts, and component selection.
• Writing PLC programs and robot programs; documenting controls schematics and programs.

Responsabilidades

• Design electrical controls including schematics, panel layouts, and component selection.
• Write PLC and robot programs and document control systems.
• Oversee control-related issues with external contractors and verify conformance to design specs.
• Assist with equipment efficiency improvements and preventive maintenance planning.
• Train operators and maintenance on new equipment and control systems.
• Ensure compliance with Hutchinson health, safety, and environmental policies.
