El Tecnológico de Monterrey busca un Investigador Postdoctoral en el Instituto de Investigación en Obesidad (IOR). Las funciones incluyen desarrollar proyectos de investigación, apoyar la publicación de artículos científicos y la formación de estudiantes. Se requiere un Ph.D. en áreas relacionadas y experiencia demostrable en investigación.

Formación

• Experiencia de al menos dos años en investigación con publicaciones científicas.
• Preferiblemente haber completado una estancia de investigación en el extranjero.

Responsabilidades

• Desarrollar un proyecto de investigación específico.
• Asistir en la formación de estudiantes de pregrado y/o maestría.
• Apoyar otros proyectos de investigación.
• Publicar un artículo científico en una revista Q1/Q2 como autor principal.

Postdoctoral Researcher at IOR

The postdoctoral researcher will support the research work of the Institute for Obesity Research (IOR). They must execute projects, publish scientific articles in high-impact peer-reviewed journals, and ensure effective dissemination of the group's and institution's work through presentations at national and international conferences. Additionally, they will support undergraduate and graduate students, as well as professors and specialists. Participation in calls for funding for IOR research is also required.

Requirements:

• Ph.D., preferably in any of the fields related to medicine, biotechnology, molecular biology, or related sciences.
• Preferably have completed a research stay abroad, either as a research or postdoctoral stay.
• Demonstrate at least two years of research experience with scientific outputs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a specific research project.
• Support the development of a new translational research line.
• Assist in the training of undergraduate and/or master's students.
• Support other research projects requiring their skills.
• Assist in writing scientific articles and/or protocols to attract funding

Expected Results:

• Publish at least one Q1/Q2 scientific article as the first author within a year.
• Publish at least one Q1/Q2 article as a co-author, demonstrating participation in other research projects.
• Generate material to write a research protocol to apply for funding.
• Disseminate knowledge through the publication of articles, patents, training of human resources, etc.
• Participate in national and international conferences to disseminate generated developments
