The Institute for Nuclear Sciences at UNAM invites applications for postdoctoral fellows starting March 2026. Candidates with a Ph.D. in physics obtained within the last 5 years are sought, with expertise in various domains including gravitation and cosmology. Positions offer competitive stipends and health benefits.
The Institute for Nuclear Sciences of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in Mexico City has openings twice a year for postdoctoral fellows.
The positions are for one year, renewable for a second one.
They carry a competitive monthly stipend, as well as basic health insurance for the postdoctoral fellow and her/his dependents.
We are currently looking for candidates who could begin their work at UNAM in March 2026. They must have a Ph.D. in physics obtained at most 5 years before that date.

The faculty members are Miguel Alcubierre, Wolfgang Bietenholz, Yuri Bonder, Chryssomalis Chryssomalakos, Dario Nunez, Néstor Ortiz, Hernando Quevedo, Marcelo Salgado, Christopher Stephens, Daniel Sudarsky, Roberto Sussman and Alexander Turbiner.
One of these faculty members should act as the postdoctoral fellow's advisor.
