El Departamento de Física de Altas Energías de la UNAM en la Ciudad de México busca candidatos para una posición postdoctoral de 1+1 años en física de partículas. Se espera que los solicitantes tengan un doctorado reciente y participen en proyectos de investigación avanzados, incluyendo estudios sobre materia oscura y teorías de campo efectivo. Se reciben aplicaciones hasta el 27 de julio de 2025.

The High Energy Physics Department of the Institute of Nuclear Science (ICN) at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in Mexico City, Mexico, is seeking candidates for a 1+1 year postdoctoral position in the fields of theoretical and experimental particle physics, starting on March 2026. The PhD degree of potential candidates must have been awarded no more than five years prior to the date of recruitment.

The research topics developed at the Department include: Astroparticle Physics, Effective Field Theories, Electroweak Baryogenesis, Gauge/Gravity Duality, Lagrangian and Hamiltonian Methods of Quantization, Quantum Information, Mathematical Physics, Black Hole Physics, Neutrino Physics, Dark Matter, Noncommutative Field Theories, Field Theory in Topological Condensed Matter, Relativistic Heavy-Ion Physics, Thermal Field Theory, Ultra-High Energy Cosmic Ray Physics. The Department is also currently engaged in the ALICE experiment at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, in MPD-NICA at JINR, in the Pierre Auger Observatory, as well as in the JEM-EUSO, HAWC, SWGO, CORSIKA 8, DAMIC, CONNIE, Oscura, and Coherent-CAPTAIN-Mills collaborations.
