As a PLM and development process administrator here at Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS), a business unit of Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to improve and evolve the process that enables the development of cutting-edge software solutions in the Industrial Automation (IA) field.

You will be responsible for the implementation, optimization and support of the development process and supporting tools used for designing, developing, and implementing software/hardware solutions that enhance the efficiency and productivity of our customers' operations. Your expertise and innovative mindset will play a crucial role in driving technological advancements and shaping the future of the company.

You will report directly to the HPS Engineering Operations (EOPS) Leader, and you'll work out of our Mexico City location (Sante Fe) on a hybrid work schedule. In this position, you will be a member of the HPS EOPS team, a part of the Program Management Office (PMO). The PMO oversees, drives, and manages New Product Introduction (NPI) for Honeywell Process Solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administer and provide user support for critical tools like Teamcenter, MS Project Server and RQUP module in Salesforce. Measure KPIs (for example: cycle time) and continue to improve the overall user experience.

  • Provide timely support related to SAP Product Data Management (PDM), user account administration and Design Responsible Project (DRP) and Design Authority (DA) workflow changes.

  • Continuously improve Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process guidelines in the HPS Engineering process and deliver training and support.

  • As part of HPS Process Excellence team, create and maintain HPS Engineering process portal with Hardware product development guidelines, training materials, templates and sample deliverables to enable R&D teams to meet scope/quality/cost/schedule commitments.

  • Implement process improvements in all areas including but not limited to Project Management, Quality, Requirements, Architecture, Design, Implementation, Test and Deployment disciplines.

  • Train and rollout hardware process improvements to the global team to increase launch/field quality and meet revenue commitments.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics with strong finance and business acumen.

  • 3 years of proven experience working in a diversified, global product development environment.

  • Administrative or user experience with Product Lifecycle Management applications like Teamcenter, PTC, or SAP PLM.

  • Proven experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) and Research & Development processes, supporting stage gate (aka wall to wall) processes, developing/maintaining process guidelines and providing training/support to global teams.

  • Proven ability to communicate and work effectively with internal and external customers at all organizational levels. Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English.

  • Strong technical writing skills using Microsoft office tools such as (Word and Power point).

  • Expert in using Excel formulas to analyze and manipulate data.

  • Experience with development tools including but not limited to Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Unity, Bamboo, Collaborator, Enterprise Architect, Artifactory, Coverity, SonarQube and Black Duck.
