Formación

• 5+ años de experiencia en programación PLC y automatización industrial.
• Conocimientos avanzados en redes industriales y control de motores.

Important IT company at the Latin American level is seeking a:

PLC Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement PLC programs for automation and material handling systems.
• Test, debug, and troubleshoot systems for smooth operation.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize system performance.
• Modify and enhance existing PLC programs.
• Provide on-site and remote system support.
• Maintain system documentation and backups.
• Ensure safety standards and industry regulations compliance.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in PLC programming and industrial automation.
• Proficient in ladder logic, structured text, and function block programming.
• Robotics, motion control, and conveyor systems experience is a plus.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Technical Expertise

• Honeywell Intelligrated automation & material handling systems - Expert
• PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) - Expert
• HMI/SCADA configuration and maintenance - Advanced
• Electrical schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams (AutoCAD Electrical) - Advanced

Control Systems & Integration

• Industrial networking (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, etc.) - Advanced
• Power distribution, motor controls, and VFDs - Advanced
• System integration, testing, and commissioning - Advanced

Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting

• Diagnostics, maintenance, and downtime minimization - Expert

Industry Standards & Compliance

• Knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC), UL standards, safety regulations - Intermediate

Preferred Skills

• Robotics & vision systems, WES/WCS knowledge, project management - Intermediate

ADVANCED CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH ESSENTIAL (Will be evaluated).

Job Type: Remote.

Work Location: Mexico City or Chihuahua.

Duration: 1 year Contract (possibility to be extended).

Salary: According to experience.
