Job summary

HCL Tech is seeking a QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on Playwright experience to build scalable automation frameworks and drive comprehensive testing across functional, regression, API and end-to-end scopes.

You will integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with product and development teams to ensure quality delivery in an Agile environment, with a focus on AI/agentic testing initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7-8+ years of QA Automation experience.
• 4+ years hands-on Playwright experience.
• Experience in modern Agile development environments.

Summary

Seeking a QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Playwright (mandatory) and expertise in building scalable automation frameworks. Exposure to AI/agentic testing or agentic development workflows is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation test suites using Playwright.
• Execute functional, regression, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills (Must-Have)

• Experience with API testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills (Good-to-Have)

• Exposure to AI/agentic testing or agentic development workflows.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.

Experience
