A leading multinational company is seeking a Platform Migration and Automation Engineer to support platform migration with expertise in SaaS/Low Code applications, AWS services, and Python automation. The ideal candidate will assist in migrating applications and deliver customized dashboards for performance visibility. This position is based in Mexico.

Formación

• Ability to write and execute SQL queries.

Platform Migration & Automation Engineer - Bilingual

Job Description

We are seeking a Platform Migration and Automation Engineer with experience in building SaaS/Low Code applications to support platform migration. Candidate should be able to configure AWS services, integrate data from various sources and create Python-based automation using AWS Lambda. This role will focus on executing scoped technical tasks and delivering concrete outputs such as platform migration, feature enablement, and logging dashboards.

Key Skills

• Low Code or SaaS application: Experience building applications in SaaS platform (Salesforce, SAP or similar) or Low code platform (Microsoft Power Platform or similar)
• Python Development: Ability to write Python scripts and functions, with an understanding of AWS Lambdafor automation use cases.
• AWS: Experience provisioning, configuring, maintaining and monitoring AWS services like IAM, S3, Cloud Watch, RDS, AWS Console, Lambda.
• SQL (Read/Write): Ability to write and execute SQL queries to pull, validate, and transform data. Includes updating configuration objects that use SQL-like structures (e.g., YAML/metadata files).

Key Responsibilities / Deliverables

• Platform Migration: Assist in migrating existing applications and configurations to the new platform (e.g., QuickSight), including setup of new environments/spaces for business-critical apps such as the renewal justification tool.
• Configuration Updates: Update configuration files (YAML or similar) and platform configurations in the AWS console.
• Python Automation: Write and adapt Python scripts (including AWS Lambda functions) to support automation tasks.
• Logging & Dashboards: Deliver a custom logging dashboard and app-specific logging framework to give leadership visibility into usage and performance

Good to have skills

• Familiarity with Amazon QuickSight
• Amazon Q/Amazon Q Business: Experience with provisioning, configuring, monitoring, optimization and deploying Amazon Q Business applications.
• Prompt Engineering: Familiarity with prompt design and refinement, including structured XML prompting.
