A leading automotive company in Apodaca is seeking a Quality Engineer. The candidate should have a degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in the automotive sector. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with quality standards, performing audits, and coordinating improvement activities. Fluency in English is essential. The role offers a dynamic environment focused on continuous improvement and innovation.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Quality Engineer.
• Internal auditor certified in the IATF 16949 standard is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Guarantees validation of new product/process.
• Performs statistical study.
• Coordinates team for continuous improvement activities.
• Defines process control plans.
• Performs process audits.
• Develops and maintains procedures to ensure compliance with IATF 16949.
• Communicates Notices of Non-Conformance.
• Analyzes and identifies areas of continuous improvement.
• Supervises and trains operators and technicians.
• Development of control plans for projects.

Conocimientos

Fluency in English

Core tools (PFMEA, MSA, Control Plan, SPC, PPAP, APQP)

Experience in the Automotive Sector

Educación

Industrial Engineer Administrator, Mechanical Engineer Administrator or equivalent

What profile are we looking for?

• Industrial Engineer Administrator, Mechanical Engineer Administrator or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years' experience as QE

With experience in:

• Necessary experience in the Automotive Sector (Preferably machining)
• Internal auditor certified in the IATF 16949 standard (Desirable)
• Core tools (PFMEA, MSA, Control Plan, SPC, PPAP, APQP)
• Fluency in English is essential

Main responsibilities

• Guarantees validation of new product/process
• Performs statistical study
• Coordinates team for continuous improvement activities
• Defines process control plans
• Performs process audits
• Develop and maintain procedures and processes to ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and other relevant standards.
• Communicate in a timely manner the Notices of Non-Conformance in case of problems detected in the different stages of the production process.
• Analyze, report and identify areas of continuous improvement.
• Supervise and provide training to operators and technicians in the instructions and activities applicable to the position.
• Development of control plans at different stages of a project (Prototypes, Pre-series, and Series)
• Create and maintain updated area documentation and reports.
