Descripción de la vacante

Crown Holdings, Inc. busca un Coordinador de Manufactura para una planta de Monterrey. Responsable de optimizar flujos de producción, asignar recursos y apoyar metas de producción y estándares de calidad.

Se requieren 2-4 años en coordinación de producción, conocimiento de Lean, ISO 9001 y manejo de ERP/MRP (SAP u Oracle). Se valorará dominio de español e inglés y capacidad de trabajar en entorno dinámico.

Formación

  • Titulación en Ingeniería Industrial, Manufactura, Ingeniería Mecánica o afín.
  • 2-4 años de experiencia en coordinación de producción o rol similar en manufactura.
  • Conocimientos de Lean Manufacturing, ISO 9001 y control estadístico de procesos.

Responsabilidades

  • Coordinar actividades de producción diarias: programación, flujo de materiales y asignación de personal.
  • Monitorear avances frente a cronogramas y ajustar planes ante desvíos.
  • Rastrear KPIs de producción (output, eficiencia, desechos) y reportar a la gerencia.
  • Identificar cuellos de botella y proponer mejoras continues.
  • Asegurar cumplimiento de seguridad, calidad y políticas de la empresa.
  • Colaborar con compras, logística y QA para garantizar disponibilidad de materiales y transiciones suaves entre etapas.
  • Mantener registros de producción y apoyar capacitación de personal.
  • Solucionar incidencias de producción y escalar problemas complejos cuando sea necesario.
  • Participar en inventarios y conteos cíclicos.

Coordinador de Manufactura

Responsabilidades

Coordinar el proceso de Manufactura con base a los estándares, procedimientos, controles y políticas establecidas por Crown y mediante la implementación de estrategias que aseguren la optimización de recursos, promuevan el desarrollo del recurso humano, fomenten un clima laboral sano y aseguran los materiales, maquinaria y equipo necesario para el logro de las metas establecidas en los indicadores operativos, el crecimiento, permanencia y rentabilidad del negocio, asegurando el cumplimiento de las necesidades de nuestros clientes.

Requisitos
  • Titulado en Ingeniería en Mecánica Automotriz, Industrial, Eléctrica o carrera a fin.
  • Sentido de responsabilidad
  • Agrado por el área de producción y manufactura

3 Años de experiencia en procesos productivos.

Conocimientos en Green Belt (deseable), Lean Manufacturing, Control Estadístico del Proceso, ISO 9001, FSSC22000

Job Summary

The Plant Production Coordinator at Fabricas Monterrey, S.A. de C.V. is responsible for optimizing production workflows, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and supporting the overall manufacturing process to meet production targets and quality standards.

Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily production activities, including scheduling, material flow, and labor assignments, in collaboration with production supervisors and team leads.
  • Monitor production progress against established schedules and adjust plans as needed to address unforeseen issues or changes in demand.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production output, efficiency, and waste, and report findings to management.
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the production process and propose solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality control standards, and company policies throughout the production floor.
  • Liaise with procurement, logistics, and quality assurance departments to ensure timely availability of materials and smooth transitions between stages.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including material usage, finished goods, and downtime.
  • Assist in the training and development of production personnel on new procedures and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot minor production issues and escalation complex problems to appropriate personnel.
  • Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts and reconciliation.
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a production coordination or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and inventory control.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken) is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic production environment.
