Job summary

Cooper Standard seeks a Plant Process Engineer to lead manufacturing processes for new products and customer programs. You will define processes, analyze flow and equipment needs, and drive efficiency and scrap reduction across the plant.

You will collaborate with engineering, program management, and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time launches, PFMEA, and continuous improvement. On-site role with ISO and Lean knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or industrial engineering.
• Minimum one year of experience in manufacturing or process engineering in a production environment.
• Automotive experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops manufacturing methods, equipment, and processes for programs.
• Defines equipment utilization, floor space requirements, process flow, and layout for maximum efficiency.
• Works cross-functionally with engineering, program management and the Program Team to meet targets.
