Job Title:Plant Manager – Protective Fabric Manufacturing
Location:Mexico City, Mexico (Housing and Transportation Included)
Job Type:Full-Time

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experiencedPlant Managerto lead and oversee daily operations at our protective fabric manufacturing facility in theMexico City area. This position is critical to ensuring high-quality, efficient, and safe production — with a strong focus onweaving operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing complex textile manufacturing environments and a deep understanding of woven fabric production, ideally for flame-resistant or high-performance textile markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide full leadership and operational oversight for all plant functions including production, maintenance, quality, safety, and logistics.
  • Manage and optimize weaving operations with a strong focus on productivity, process efficiency, and quality control.
  • Implement and enforce best practices in manufacturing, lean production, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead, develop, and motivate cross-functional plant teams to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all local labor, environmental, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with global operations, supply chain, and engineering teams to support strategic goals and technical improvements.
  • Manage plant budgets, costs, and capital investment projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of plant management experience, including5–8 years directly managing weaving or fabric manufacturing operations.
  • Strong knowledge of protective textiles, woven fabric technologies, and quality systems.
  • Proven ability to lead large teams in high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Fluency inSpanish preferred; English proficiency is a plus.
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to theMexico City area.
