Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
  • Master's degree highly desired.
  • Strong experience with Continuous Improvement and Problem Solving tools necessary.
  • Experience in manufacturing automotive harnesses required.

YOUR ROLE

As EHS Manager on our team, you will:

Be responsible for leading the plant to operate and provide products and services with the quality and timeliness expected, in an efficient and cost-effective manner, while meeting company targets.

In your daily job, you will:

  • Establish and ensure the plant operates in optimal conditions and safety culture.
  • Establish and maintain company processes to ensure maximum capacity and resource utilization.
  • Develop strategies to achieve QVC targets.
  • Provide solid, consistent leadership, accountability, and mentoring to all employees.
  • Lead the plant’s efforts to develop personnel.
  • Responsible for P&L of the business unit.
  • Lead use of tools to improve business conditions such as ICIM, Shainin, Lean, Problem Solving, etc.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce costs and increase productivity and delivery.

YOUR BACKGROUND

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Master's degree is highly desired.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Strong experience with Continuous Improvement and Problem Solving tools: ICIM, Shainin, or others.
  • Knowledge of finance: P&L, forecasting, budgets.
  • Coaching and management skills.
  • Flexibility to relocate if necessary.
  • Proficiency with computer systems such as Microsoft Office, Minitab, SAP.
  • Experience in manufacturing automotive harnesses is required.
