We are looking for a Plant Logistics Manager to join the SUPPY CHAIN - MARELLI GT team, reporting directly to the Plant Manager.
This position is based at our office in Toluca Plant.
As the Plant Logistics Manager at Marelli, you will be responsible Overall control of logistics planning team. Responsible for ensuring production schedules are levelled and achievable and reliably match the supply of raw materials and components from external suppliers into the plant; define logistic parameters both for direct and indirect materials according to assembly lines features/constrains in a plant/warehouse/depot. Responsible of daily warehouse performance like inbound quota, outbound quota, shipping Quality and claims quota daily review and Maintenance of KPIs. Overall accountability for ensuring the SAP master data required for production and supplier schedules is fully accurate; To manage rules conformity audits and to take necessary counteraction.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION (SCHOOL/SPECIALIZATION): University degree or similar
LANGUAGES: English fluent, additional language is preferred
EXPERIENCES:
6 years’ experience in Manufacturing / Logistics roles; International job experience
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE
Logistics basics;
Technical knowledge of raw materials/parts identification;
Production flow;
Information systems for the area of responsibility;
Advanced knowledge of procedures ISO/Revi;
Administrative computer system (SAP, CLICK);
Emergency and evacuation plan in the area of responsibility;
Advanced knowledge and continuous use of DPI.
Good financial understanding
Good knowledge of MS Office suites
Ability to enter and solve conflictual situations
High willingness to make/drive decisions
Ability to translate business needs into strategic actions
Good planning and analytical skills
Dynamic and continuously looking for improvements
