NES Fircroft in Mexico seeks a Plant Inspector to execute inspection activities during EPC and start-up phases, ensuring safe, reliable operation through early defect detection. You will perform visual and NDT inspections on equipment and prepare reports.

The role requires a Diploma/HND in Engineering, at least 4 years of oil & gas inspection experience, and API 510/570 certification. Strong reporting and cross-functional coordination are essential, with emphasis on safety and regulatory

Formación

• Diploma/HND in engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 4 years of inspection experience in industrial/oil & gas.
• API 510/570 certification required; API 653 preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct visual and NDT inspections on vessels, piping, heat exchangers, and lifting equipment.
• Prepare inspection reports using inspection software.
• Monitor compliance with codes, standards, and procedures during maintenance and projects.
• Identify defects, raise inspection recommendations, and track corrective actions to completion.
• Support and supervise NDT testing activities (UT, MT, PT, RT, and advanced methods).
• Maintain inspection tools, equipment, and records in system databases.
• Coordinate with contractors and cross-functional teams to ensure quality and compliance.

Job Title: Plant Inspector

Job Purpose

Execute inspection activities during EPC and start-up phases to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of facilities through early defect detection and compliance with established standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct visual and NDT inspections on equipment such as vessels, piping, heat exchangers, and lifting equipment.
• Perform integrity assessments and prepare inspection reports using inspection systems/software.
• Monitor maintenance and project activities to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and procedures.
• Identify defects, raise inspection recommendations, and track corrective actions to completion.
• Support and supervise NDT testing activities (UT, MT, PT, RT, and advanced methods).
• Maintain inspection tools, equipment, and accurate records in system databases.
• Coordinate with contractors and cross-functional teams to ensure quality and compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma/HND in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of inspection experience in industrial/oil & gas environment.
• Certification in API 510/570 (API 653 preferred).

Skills

• Knowledge of inspection techniques and NDT methods.
• Familiarity with RBI, corrosion, and damage mechanisms.
• Good reporting, communication, and coordination skills.
• Basic knowledge of plant processes and international codes.
