The Opportunity

This manager level role is responsible for reporting, planning, and analyzing financial-cost performance. Prepares financials-cost plans and forecasts based on performance expectations. Gathers and publishes financial information related to historical, current, and future performance. Performs financial analysis concepts and techniques. Recommends alternative course of action.

What You’ll Do

  • Cost Accounting - Manage all the functions and activities associated with the managerial cost accounting section, such as budgets, manufacturing product costing, manufacturing variance (direct labor, material and overhead) analysis, inventory reconciliations, forecasting and projections, etc.
  • Closing & Reporting - Coordinate the timely and accurate preparation of the monthly financial statement, quarterly schedules, year-end financial information packages and the review with Site Controller; Verify reasonableness and provide management with manufacturing performance reports on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, including manufacturing variance analyses and appropriate explanations of yields, scrap, rework and other factors. Analysis of inventory balances and other account reconciliations as assigned.
  • Monitor, prepare and lead the review of financial reports and packages with site Controller before published, Coordinate Financial Review with leadership by gathering and analyzing information related to current performance – Cost of Sales, Unit Cost, Productivity, Throughput, etc.
  • Operational business support: responsible for the day-to-day financial support to operations personnel. Supports operations in the monetary spending overhead analysis and budget control; audits cycle count program to assure its effectiveness and timely reports its results to management. Annual Physical Inventory.
  • Participate in New Product Transfers as required, running budgeting/forecast process, recommending spending initiatives by modeling alternative financial scenarios (e.g. revenues, margin, cost etc.).
  • Supports operations continuous improvement and cost reduction project
  • Provide direction and be a mentor to Finance/Cost analysts, ensuring the finance team provides efficient and effective support to the manufacturing site and provide accurate and timely submissions to site, division & corporate

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • +8 Years of experience, both overall and any industry-specific experience needed: +6 years professional experience in Controlling or Cost Accounting.
  • English language is required, skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Other qualifications/certifications: Strong knowledge of Cost, general accounting is a plus, SAP, strong excel,
