Position Purpose

The Manufacturing Planner Engineer provides support to facilitate the manufacture of the product, ensuring it meets design requirements, quality standards, and delivery timelines. The role involves continuous improvement of manufacturing processes aligned with company goals and close collaboration with other teams to update manufacturing standards.

Job Description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions

  • Implement engineering changes on existing products on time and with quality; participate in the transfer of new products.
  • Plan requirements, materials, and tools necessary for manufacturing.
  • Support shop floor activities related to engineering changes and transfers (RCCA, DR/DI's, Redlines, WOA, rework routines, etc.).
  • Evaluate manufacturing processes to improve efficiency through planning and design improvements.
  • Participate in projects and implement process improvements.
  • Handle medium to high complexity tasks.
  • Increase collaboration with other positions and departments.
  • Assist and participate in CRB and TR meetings.

Additional Functions

  • Support RPS on shop floor and quality meetings.

Perform other duties as assigned.
