Una empresa innovadora busca un Planificador/Comprador para gestionar la cadena de suministro y asegurar la disponibilidad de recursos. Formación

• 2-3 años de experiencia en gestión de cadena de suministro en un entorno de fabricación.
• Conocimiento sólido en sistemas ERP y habilidades de negociación en inglés y español.

Descripción del empleo

The Planner/Buyer is responsible for the supply chain management. Responsibilities will include coordination and planning of all activities related to the production of FGs, release schedules and analyze forecast to ensure timely completion of manufacturing orders and the availability of resources (Procurement, Planning, Inventory control and logistics). To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

1. Achieve On-time delivery targets
2. Convert customer demand (Sales Orders) into a production schedule (netting out on-hand FG inventory and available machine/labor capacity)
3. Minimize line disruptions and prevent materials-related line downs
4. Effectively manage inventory to meet ITO, DOS, and E/O targets
5. Oversee purchasing activities to ensure MRP messages are followed, exposure is minimized, and PPV is minimized, past due orders are tracked and minimized
6. Oversee critical processes including Sourcing Team escalation, CCN, MOQ/EOQ BSM escalation, std cost verification, etc.
7. Participate in cost-reduction and CPI programs
8. Oversee performance to inventory targets and exposure guidelines
9. Oversee performance to Quarantine resolution
10. Evaluate and manage by metrics
11. Support if necessary in other duties required by the Company

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, e.g., Business, Engineering, Management, etc.

Two to Three years of progressive Supply chain/Materials/Procurement/Planning/Inventory control management experience gained within a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge in ERP systems; Medical industry knowledge/experience preferred.

Strong verbal English and Spanish verbal and written skills including effective negotiation skills.

A proven track record of cost savings. APICS C.P.I.M. or CSCP certification preferred.

Strong and proactive problem-solving skills including techniques that identify and resolve root causes. Proven leadership and management skills including effective time management and multitasking skills. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Requires an individual who is a team player that is willing to perform tasks outside of the day-to-day operations environment and has the ability/desire to accept challenges, respond aggressively, adapt to change and meet deadlines.
