Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Develop supplier production plans and priorities to meet requirements, monitor and maintain inventory levels, and expedite materials to avoid shortages.
• Review material parameters and communicate with team members and customers about material status.
• Create, release, follow up on purchase orders, and analyze causes for missed on-time deliveries to improve performance.
• Purchase assigned materials/commodities from suppliers, resolve shortages and disputes.
• Manage inventory based on defined goals using established systems and tools.
• Maintain minimal excess and obsolete materials.
• Manage vendor lead-time, transit time, and schedules.
• Resolve invoicing and receiving discrepancies.
• Negotiate and place purchase orders, resolve quality issues with suppliers.
• Manage data in MRP system including price, lead time, lot sizes, and strategy group.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of related purchasing experience.
• Analytical and project management skills.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of supply chain, materials, and logistics.
• Proficient in English and SAP.
