Job summary

Pernod Ricard México S.A de C.V is seeking an experienced professional to manage Finished and Dry Goods Inventory and lead S&OP activities.

You will contribute to the sales budget, facilitate collaborative demand forecasts with sales, marketing, finance, logistics and production, define and monitor supply/demand KPIs, and translate production requirements into proactive plans to ensure on-time delivery of final products.

• Experience in finished and dry goods inventory management.
• Proven ability to lead a team and coordinate cross-functional work.
• Strong KPI tracking and demand forecasting skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to sales budget construction and achieve consensus for operational demand forecasts with sales, marketing, finance, logistics and production.
• Define and monitor supply/demand KPI's.
• Manage a team and communicate supply and demand planning vision and strategy.
• Provide short term and long term plans to guide efficient operation of assets.
• Translate production requirements into proactive plans to guide day-to-day priorities.
• Support the implementation/integration of supply/demand management strategies and processes.
• Anticipate and assess impacts of unexpected events on demand and sales.
• Compare sales to the forecast on a day-to-day basis and propose corrective actions.
• Define and communicate the target stock model according to lifecycle.
• Calculate supply needs considering demand and inventory policy.
• Allocate supply needs between sources and initiate production and procurement planning.
• Optimize the supply plan according to cost, cash and fixed asset utilization objectives.

Job description

Employees responsible for Finished and Dry Goods Inventory Management and Supply and Demand Planning by contributing to one or several missions below:

• '- Contribute to sales budget construction and achieve consensus for operational demand forecasts by facilitating a collaborative planning process with involved stakeholders (sales, marketing, finance, logistics, production)
• '- Define and monitor supply/demand KPI's
• '- Manage a team and share and communicate supply and demand planning vision and strategy with them
• '- Provide short term and long term plans to guide the efficient operation assets
• '- Translate production requirements into proactive plans to guide production day to day priorities and work programs to enable timely delivery of final product
• '- Support the implementation / integration of supply/demand management strategies and processes
• '- Anticipate and assess the impacts of unexpected events on demand and sales on the planning horizon
• '- Compare sales to the forecast on a day-to-day basis and propose corrective actions to stakeholders
• '- Define and communicate the target stock model according to life cycle (new products, recurrent items, phasing out)
• '- Calculate the supply need taking into account the demand (resulting from demand and distribution planners) and inventory policy
• '- Allocate the supply needs between the sources (Production, sub-contractors, inventory and procurement)
• '- Initiate and lead production (internal and external) and procurement plannings on mid/long term horizons
• '- Optimize the supply plan according to cost, cash and fixed asset utilization objectives
