Join a fast-growing, VC-backed travel-tech company as a Senior Symfony Software Engineer and help shape the future of vacation technology. We're expanding our Symfony/PHP engineering team with nearshore talent to drive innovation while maintaining delivery speed and code quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and optimize scalable Symfony services using PHP 8+, Doctrine ORM, and REST/GraphQL APIs
• Build clean, modular, and testable code following best OOP practices
• Integrate third-party APIs and solve performance bottlenecks
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and help reduce legacy tech debt
• Champion the adoption of AI tools to improve coding efficiency

Must-Haves:

• 8+ years of experience with PHP and Symfony
• Strong knowledge of design patterns, SQL, and modern backend architecture
• Excellent English communication skills
• Minimum 3-hour overlap with Pacific Time
• Openness to AI-assisted development workflows

Nice-to-Haves:

• Hands-on AWS experience
• Familiarity with Vue.Js, React, Twig
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
