Under strict supervision, assists senior operators and/or performs frac-specific roles (e.g., proppant, chemicals, blenders, QA/QC). Learns basic operations including but not limited to: performing pre/post job equipment inspections, executing preventative maintenance procedures, and operating support equipment (e.g., proppant handling, fluid tanks, suction manifolding, discharge manifold equipment). Completes required training and demonstrates competency as defined for current and next level. Assists in assembly and preparation of equipment for installation and service. Helps in cleanup, repair, and preparation for subsequent jobs. Exhibits safety awareness and environmental consciousness, complying with all safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Participates in quality and continuous improvement processes. Basic reading, writing, and comprehension skills are required. Basic computer skills and mathematical abilities are preferred. Skills are acquired through on-the-job training and 3-6 months experience as an Operator Assistant I. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
