An established industry player in luxury hospitality seeks a People & Culture Coordinator to enhance the employee experience at its stunning resort in Cabo San Lucas. This role is pivotal in fostering a positive work environment by supporting HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, ensuring compliance with labor laws while maintaining confidentiality. Formación

About the role of People & Culture Coordinator:

The People & Culture Coordinator supports the daily functions of the HR department at the resort, ensuring smooth operations in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, and HR administration. This role acts as a key liaison between employees and management to promote a positive work environment.

What you will do:

  • Assist with onboarding and orientation for new hires.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in physical and digital formats.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries about HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Prepare HR reports and documentation as needed.
  • Support employee relations matters with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with payroll and finance teams to ensure accurate employee data.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a similar role; hospitality or resort experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Discretion and integrity with confidential information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Abrhil Soft systems is a plus.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred, depending on location.
