Diversified Management Group, Inc. (DMG) is hiring a Convenience Store Assistant Manager to support daily operations at our Pecos Pit Stop location. The role involves checkout, cash control, merchandising, inventory management, food production, bookkeeping, and maintenance while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

The candidate will assist the Store Manager, supervise and train staff, and help maintain a fast-paced, friendly store environment consistent with DMG values.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Positive and friendly.
• Enjoy a fast-paced work environment.
• Good oral and written communication.
• Desire to help customers.
• Ability to obtain liquor licensure as required by state or local municipality law.
• Ability to obtain any other applicable certifications/licensures as required.

• Some weekend and holiday availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with daily tasks including checkout and cash control.
• Oversee merchandise layout and presentation.
• Manage inventory and stock levels.
• Support food production and basic bookkeeping tasks.
• Perform maintenance and administrative duties as needed.
• Supervise, train and coach team members to ensure great customer service.

This position is responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations and assists the Store Manager with daily tasks such as checkout, controlling cash, merchandise layout, managing inventory, food production, bookkeeping, and maintenance. This position is responsible for processing customer purchases, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction, and supervising, training and coaching team members.
