Job summary

Flex is seeking a Debug Technician in Aguascalientes to analyze PCBAs with failures and guide repair activities. You will provide feedback to engineering for process improvements and prevention of future defects.

Daily duties include diagnosing defects, using tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, LCR meters, and contributing to diagnostic guides. Collaboration with engineers is key to production quality.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing electronic boards.
• Knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits and diagnose faults.
• Understanding of passive/active electronics and amplifiers.
• Experience using measurement instruments (multimeter, oscilloscope) and reading schematics.
• Desirable: experience with spectrum analyzer.
• Basic RF knowledge relevant to PCBAs.
• Familiarity with ICT/FCT testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Detect and diagnose process defects that cause failures in electronic boards.
• Operate measurement instruments such as multimeter, LCR, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc., and perform special tests as required.
• Contribute to the development of diagnostic guides based on the findings made.
• Help monitor failure trends for the continuous improvement of production processes.
• Follow all safety regulations and report unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
• Work together with technicians and engineers from other areas for the diagnosis and feedback of defects found.
• Provide training and guidance on PCBA debugging to other debug technicians.
