As a Payroll Specialist I here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for processing payroll transactions, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees. You will handle payroll-related inquiries, maintain payroll records, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. This role is critical in supporting the payroll team and contributing to the overall efficiency of payroll operations.

In this role, you will impact Honeywell by ensuring accurate payroll processing, enhancing employee satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with payroll regulations. You will report directly to our Payroll Manager and work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a Hybrid work schedule.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 0+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in payroll software and systems
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and regulations

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the processing of payroll, including data entry, calculations, and disbursements
  • Support the Payroll Manager in ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries, wages, and benefits to employees
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure compliance with payroll-related laws and regulations
  • Address employee inquiries related to payroll and resolve any discrepancies
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of payroll operations
