Una empresa líder en servicios de nómina busca un Especialista en Nómina para unirse a su equipo en Mérida, Yucatán. El candidato ideal deberá tener más de cinco años de experiencia en nómina, así como una licenciatura en contabilidad o área relacionada. La función implica gestionar procesos de nómina, garantizar precisión y cumplimiento, y ofrecer un excelente servicio al cliente. Se requiere habilidad en el uso de software de nómina y capacidad de resolver problemas complejos.
Job Title: Payroll Specialist
Shift time: Monday to Friday 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Location: Merida, Yucatan.
Salary: 28,000 mil pesos mxn brutos.
Payroll Specialist L3:
- Process L3 Client Payrolls
- Check timesheets for accuracy
- Enter data into payroll system and necessary spreadsheets
- Setup new hires in payroll system and save new employee forms
- Process direct deposit and paper checks for distribution
- Send necessary payroll reports timely to client
- Process wage garnishments, payroll advances, etc. with no errors
- Process New Hire Paperwork including deductions, withholdings, etc. with no errors
- Analyze and respond to inquiries regarding paychecks
- Reconcile payroll liabilities
- Perform Verifications of Employment
- Payroll Audits
- Certified Payroll Reports - Prep Monthly & Quarterly Payroll Reporting
- Multi-state payrolls
- Review payrolls prepped by other employees
- Ability to problem solve on any accounting software payroll issues
-Overcommunicate with the team and clients on pertinent information
-Look for red flags when appropriate to ensure fraud protection for clients

- Ability to troubleshoot robust accounting softwares
- Ability to lead other payroll professionals on all payroll questions
- Attend seminars and training to be knowledgeable in all payroll laws and regulations
Requirements:
To be considered for employment and be successful in this role, you must have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field, 5+ years’ experience in Payroll and be open to various payroll software.
