Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Payroll Analyst with a focus on cost accounting and financial reporting. You will maintain the cost accounting system, analyze profitability, and prepare consolidated statements for management review.

Responsibilities include reconciliations, cost analysis, and collaboration with Materials and other departments to ensure accurate product costing. You will also train colleagues and support audit activities while adhering to safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience with cost accounting and financial reporting.
• Ability to prepare statements and reconciliations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and data analysis.
• Ability to work with multiple departments to ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements including balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
• Review and analyze general ledger account balances.
• Verify accuracy and recommend corrections.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations and balance sheets.
• Analyze costing issues and PPV analysis.
• Analyze data related to overall profit and costing detail.
• Prepare timely reports for functional areas.
• Prepare forecast, workcell statements, and margin analysis.
• Train other employees within and outside the department.
• Maintain and analyze the company’s cost accounting system.
• Prepare complex entries for cost accounts.
• Collect data and prepare reports on inventories, COGS and variances.
• Work with Materials to ensure accurate product costing and conduct audits.
