MezTal is seeking a Payroll Clerk to support payroll operations across multiple locations in Mexico. The role ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, maintains employee payroll records, and addresses payroll inquiries with a focus on confidentiality.

Collaborating with Human Resources, Operations, and Accounting, you will ensure compliance with wage and hour laws and company policies while managing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Prior UKG experience is a plus.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of payroll processing experience required.
• Experience processing payroll for multiple locations and/or multiple states preferred.
• Experience using payroll and timekeeping systems required (UKG or similar).

Responsabilidades

• Process bi-weekly payroll for multiple locations.
• Ensure payroll transactions are entered accurately and completed within deadlines.
• Update pay rates, position changes, transfers, bonuses, deductions, and other payroll changes.
• Process payroll for new hires, terminations, and status changes.
• Maintain payroll records, earnings information, tax forms, and direct deposit authorizations.
• Assist with payroll corrections, off-cycle payments, final paychecks, and retroactive adjustments.
• Respond to employee and manager inquiries regarding pay, deductions, taxes, and timekeeping.
• Support withholdings, garnishments, benefits, retirement contributions, and other deductions.
• Monitor compliance with wage and hour regulations.
• Assist with year-end payroll activities and tax forms.
• Generate payroll reports for management and accounting.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll information.
• Collaborate to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure accurate records.
