Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC in Mexico City is seeking a Payments Operations Analyst to support day-to-day account reconciliations, nostro breaks investigation, manual adjustments and SPEI / SPID Banxico testing. You will interact with internal stakeholders to demonstrate strategic thinking and leadership, advising best practices and solving problems.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 1–3 years of banking/financial services experience, and fluent English, with a fast-paced environment and diverse

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 1–3 years experience in banking/financial services.
• Solid sense of accountability and ownership of issues until resolution.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and changing environment with demanding timelines and deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills with high accuracy and attention to details.
• Strong interpersonal skills: can build effective business relationships with cross functional/geographical teams and coordinate with teams to action items.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily account / nostro reconciliations. Ensure outstanding items are investigated promptly and identified for resolution.
• Maintain strong operational controls in close partnership with internal functions and in accordance with the firm company policies and regulatory changes
• Continuous improvement – identify common problems and fix them sustainably
• Partnership with multiple groups within the company such as technology, finance, credit and other operation teams.
