Job summary

Flex-N-Gate is seeking a skilled professional to develop and implement tools that improve paint system performance in vehicle production. You will troubleshoot paint processes, drive permanent corrective actions, and support new process and equipment implementations.

You will collaborate across shifts and departments to sustain performance toward quality, cost, and safety goals, while maintaining process documentation and promoting continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining paint processes in vehicle production.
• Adept at root-cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Familiar with EMS and QMS requirements.
• Ability to document processes and drive cost and quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure paint processes are maintained and running effectively for vehicle production.
• Analyze data to identify root causes and develop corrective actions.
• Support implementation of new processes and equipment.
• Communicate across shifts and departments to sustain performance.
• Maintain up-to-date process documentation.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and energy use while improving quality.
• Interface with production, maintenance and suppliers as needed to resolve issues.
• Promote safety and good housekeeping in the shop.
