Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive Company is seeking a Packaging Coordinator in San Jose Iturbide, Guanajuato, Mexico. You will lead end-to-end projects for new packaging material development, aligning with KT/BIG initiatives and supporting manufacturing with technical guidance.

Responsibilities include translating concepts into SAP/PGSS specs, managing QA tests, developing suppliers, handling change documentation, and driving line improvements for cost savings.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Packaging Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 5+ years in packaging development, project management, or packaging manufacturing operations.
• Technical & Analytical Skills: knowledge of packaging materials, test methods, and cost analysis.
• Language: Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Packaging Development & Technical Specifications: Translate concepts into accurate technical specifications within SAP/PGSS, considering cost, scalability and quality.
• Quality Assurance & Testing Validation: Define Master Test Plan; oversee FPR to validate process capability.
• Supplier Development & Procurement Partnership: Collaborate with Procurement to evaluate and qualify packaging suppliers and vendors.
• Change Management & Technical Documentation: Evaluate and document design changes; keep BOMs and master data compliant.
• Manufacturing Technical Support & Continuous Improvement: Provide technical support to troubleshoot packaging lines and drive CAPA.
