Outsystems Developer Lead

Responsibilities:

1. Participate in technical design and contribute insights and ideas.
2. Lead a team of software developers and work towards delivery of the projects in a timely fashion.
3. Coordinate and communicate with other tech teams and business analysts as needed.
4. Translate business requirements into viable and scalable applications.
5. Design, develop and test OutSystems applications using best practices and established coding standards.
6. Assess existing applications in performance architecture and design and refactor leveraging OutSystems design patterns.
7. Conduct root cause analysis using knowledge of applications, interfaces, and technology for defect resolution.
8. Maintain a calm and professional demeanor at all times and consistently interact professionally and productively with all levels of employees.
9. Build flexible data models and seamless integration points.

Minimum Requirements:

1. At least 6 years of experience developing web and mobile applications using OutSystems.
2. Experience in working on front-end technologies and customizing UI of OutSystems screens and creating custom components.
3. Strong proficiency in the OutSystems platform, including the use of Service Studio and Integration Studio.
4. Strong proficiency in architecture patterns, solution design and high performing application development.
5. Extensive experience in designing and developing scalable, secure and high-performance OutSystems applications.
6. Extensive experience in developing screens, web blocks, timers, server/service actions, client actions, data actions, etc. in OutSystems.
7. Experience with working on relational database languages like SQL/Oracle and writing T-SQL queries.
8. Experience in using OutSystems architecture dashboard and discovery tool to validate application design and technical debt.
9. Knowledge of relational data modelling principles and experience building database objects using E-R modelling tools.
10. Experience in building apps with responsive web design compatible with various devices, exposing and consuming SOAP and RESTful APIs.
11. Experience working in agile/scrum methodology of project delivery.
12. Experience using tools like Azure Boards, Jira, and Confluence.
13. Familiarity with OutSystems lifetime, service center, ODC Portal, and ODC Studio.
14. Ability to work with minimal oversight and proactively communicate status and risks to project leadership and possess strong problem-solving skills.
15. OutSystems certifications such as Reactive Web Developer are highly desirable.
16. Experience in developing mobile applications using OutSystems is preferable.
