Job summary

Dematic in Mexico is seeking a seasoned Production Planner to ensure on-time, in-full delivery of customer orders. You will manage production orders, coordinate with shop floors, and monitor capacity constraints to meet OTIF goals.

The role requires SAP PP expertise, strong Excel skills, and English proficiency, with 5+ years in manufacturing planning. You will participate in daily and SIOP reviews and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or related field.
5+ years of experience in production planning within manufacturing plants.
Hands-on experience with production order creation and management, shop floor coordination and manufacturing execution.
Strong experience in SAP PP (Production Planning).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; experience in capacity-constrained environments; advanced Excel skills; English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Monitor open sales orders and customer commitments to ensure OTIF delivery.
Track past-due and at-risk orders and escalate as needed.
Coordinate with Purchasing and Sourcing on late materials and shortages.
Work with Master Scheduler and Production Planners to monitor progress against customer requirements.
Provide order status updates and communicate risks and recovery plans.
Participate in daily, weekly, and SIOP reviews and report backlog and OTIF performance.
