A leading medical technology company in Mexico is seeking a Clinical Support Specialist to provide expertise on Robotic Surgery products. The role includes training surgeons, supporting surgical teams, and ensuring compliance with ethical standards. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering and at least 2 years of clinical experience. Fluency in English and availability to travel are essential.

Formación

What you will do
  • Act as a local expert on Robotic Surgery products, providing comprehensive support during the MAKO launch both inside and outside the operating room.

  • Deliver training, continuous service, and education for clients managing new MAKO accounts, ensuring high-level clinical support and product guidance for both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Support clinical education and training for MAKO in Stryker Mexico, which includes training Mako Product Specialists, surgeons, hospital staff, and Stryker colleagues.

  • Facilitate and support the development, preparation, and delivery of MAKO cadaveric courses and surgeon certifications.

  • Train and educate surgeons, operating room staff, and hospital teams on the use of the Mako system, accessories, and implants, ensuring alignment with released surgical techniques.

  • Assist surgeons with preoperative planning, including CT scan preparations, and provide clinical insights to optimize surgical outcomes.

  • Work closely with distributors and sales representatives to coordinate surgical logistics, instrument deliveries, and on-site support for Mako surgeries.

  • Ensure all business operations and activities comply with applicable laws and regulations, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Stryker's Code of Conduct, and the highest ethical standards.

What you need

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical/clinical field of study.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical field.

  • Experience in surgical centers and hospital environments.

  • Experience in clinical and surgical support, Operating Room environment and guidance of surgeons and clinical staff.

  • Advanced English.

  • Valid visa and passport, and availability to travel.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the medical industry, preferably in Orthopedics.
