Job Description Summary

You will be responsible for overseeing credit, accounts receivable, and collection activities as the O2C Country Credit Manager. Additionally, you will coordinate the cash forecast. This role is critical in ensuring the timely collection of accounts and resolution of issues by working collaboratively with stakeholders in key countries within the Americas, such as the USA and Brazil.

Your responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Serving as the single point of contact for country stakeholders (CFOs / FSC Head, etc.) and Sandoz Global Competency Center (GCC) teams for O2C (Credit & AR) and TCM (Treasury cash management) activities in the USA and Brazil.
  • Coordinating with stakeholders to understand their requests and collaborating with O2C finance teams to meet objectives.
  • Leading and facilitating credit committee meetings.
  • Developing and maintaining good relationships with key customers and distributors alongside the GCC teams.
  • Overseeing and supporting GCC and outsourced operations in executing O2C services to drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and presenting reports and presentations, and ensuring KPIs and expectations are met.
  • Assisting in the month-end closing process and reviewing bad debt provisions.
  • Actively supporting collection and credit strategies to improve cash flow, reduce deductions, and mitigate financial risks.
  • Supporting treasury/cash management by preparing and reviewing cash forecasts (monthly, quarterly, annual, and actual vs. forecast analysis).
  • Supporting the Budget/Latest Forecast process related to Net Working Capital items.

Additional Activities:

  • Perform Creditworthiness Assessment: Annual review of non-strategic customers.
  • Credit master review: Annual review of strategic customers.
  • Credit Committee Review: Participation in credit committee reviews.
  • Changing credit insurance limit: Managing credit insurance limits.
  • Manage Blocked Orders: Handling blocked orders and approvals.
  • Table Maintenance: Maintaining relevant tables.
  • Credit Limit Calculation and Risk Treatment: Conducting ad hoc credit reviews.
  • Confirming customer: Performing ad hoc confirming activities.
  • Role owner approval in SAP: Providing ad hoc approvals.
  • Allowance for bad debt calculation: Managing accounting entries.
  • SFCF.O2C.COL.25: Ensuring controls are in place.
  • SFCF.O2C.COL.50: Reviewing parent-child relationships for consistency.
  • Monitor external news relating to A/R portfolio: Conducting frequent reviews.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • 3-4 years of experience in an O2C (Credit & AR) environment.
  • Experience with cash management is an asset.
  • CPA or CA designation preferred.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a multi-national, matrix organization.
  • Digital mindset with proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience managing improvement projects.
  • Strong business acumen for addressing issues and opportunities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese (spoken and written).
