This is a temporary position in a hybrid work model.

Summary

High: monitors risk of a multi-million dollar Accounts Receivables, manages the country collection, cash management and payments, ensuring quality is delivered across the NOCC and in the country. Enhances cash flow and protects the company from bad debt losses. Supports process standardization, automation, and innovation.

About the Role

Location: Hybrid. CDMX

* Temporary position for 12 months

Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Service Delivery:

  • Drives overall risk knowledge through the organization via credit committees
  • Proactively challenges the Status Quo, making fact based recommendations to the credit committee
  • Takes swift action when risk changes to minimize bad debt losses
  • Defines collection strategies for a group of collectors and portfolios that maximizes cash flow
  • Effectively coordinates proper cash forecast and change management for payment process
  • Performs regular credit risk assessments in accordance with perceived risk and Novartis guidelines
  • Coordinates collection, cash management and payment members to generate the most value added from the synergies created by having the O2C & TCM members under its umbrella
  • Supports that all processes, policies and procedures are clearly defined, documented, and implemented in line with Novartis standards and consistent with best practices.
  • Ensures application of agreed Novartis control procedures and actively supports to deliver SOX certification
  • Manages a diverse team (on/ off-shore) in a collaborative manner creating a high-performing organization

• Education (minimum/desirable):University level degree in Business Administration/ Economics/Finance or Chartered Accountant / MBA desirable
• Languages: Fluent in English, French an asset

• Experience: 8-10 years of experience
• Proven record of successfully managing projects driving performance (e.g. ERP implementation)
• Excellent communication skills, leadership exposure Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-national, matrix organization
