OLR Mexico, based in Monterrey, seeks a Technical Consultant to deliver Oracle Retail solutions, including hands‑on development, integration, and testing. You will work with clients, project teams, and third‑party vendors to ensure successful implementations and ongoing reliability.

Ideal candidates bring deep Oracle Retail experience, strong problem‑solving abilities, and excellent communication. The role includes knowledge transfer and ongoing production support as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or 3+ years of equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of software development and/or systems integration experience, preferably in retail IT.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Oracle Retail solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with at least two Oracle Retail apps: RMS, ReIM, SIM.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Retail concepts, integration points and technical aspects.
• Experience with at least two of: PL/SQL, C/C++, Oracle Pro*C, Java (J2EE/Swing), Oracle Forms, XML, UNIX shell scripting.

Responsabilidades

• Analyse and define client requirements for data conversions, interfaces, and app enhancements.
• Design, develop, and test modifications, interfaces, and enhancements.
• Execute data conversion and testing across project phases.
• Complete interface design and development aligned with project objectives.
• Conduct go-live readiness assessments for online and batch operations.
• Define implementation/integration alternatives and provide recommendations.
• Transfer knowledge to client personnel and vendors on Oracle Retail/OLR apps.
