A leading IT services firm in Mexico City is looking for an experienced Oracle DBA to provide 24x7 production support. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience, with deep knowledge in SQL standards, performance tuning, and Shareplex for data migration to both public and private cloud environments. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential for this role, which is full-time and at a mid-senior level.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.

• Experience with Shareplex for data migration to Azure.

• Manage Oracle databases and perform troubleshooting.
• Configure, manage, and monitor Shareplex data replication.

Overview

Production support 24x7, Oracle DBA who has experience with Shareplex.

Responsibilities

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA
• Strong understanding of SQL standards, diagnostics and performance tuning
• Oracle database (Oracle 10g or 11g, 12c/18c/19c)
• Experience with Shareplex for data migration onto Public/Private cloud (Azure)
• Experience in configuring, managing and troubleshooting Shareplex on multi-node RAC
• Experience in using Active-active Shareplex to support data replication monitoring, tuning and capacity planning in Oracle database
• Configured DDL, bi-directional and uni-directional replication from source to target database and verified the data using Shareplex and dbms_comparison
• Experience in using Shareplex during Disaster Recovery scenarios and performing History pull to sync-up data between Oracle and Non-Oracle databases
• Experience in configuring Integrated Extract and Co-ordinated Replicate
• Knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and shell scripting (Korn, Bash or Perl) required
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA
• Strong understanding of SQL standards, diagnostics and performance tuning
• Oracle database versions (Oracle 10g/11g, 12c/18c/19c)
• Shareplex experience for data migration to Azure (Public/Private cloud)
• Experience with Shareplex on multi-node RAC and data replication monitoring
• DDL replication configuration and data verification using Shareplex and dbms_comparison
• Disaster Recovery data sync between Oracle and Non-Oracle databases
• Integrated Extract and Co-ordinated Replicate configuration
• Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and shell scripting knowledge
• Strong communication, problem solving and customer service skills
