PPG América Latina is seeking an Optima Solutions Application & Advanced Process Specialist to deliver customer-focused solutions. The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree, extensive experience in Top Coat Application, and will work collaboratively with technical teams to ensure product success while adapting to market trends. This position offers the opportunity to engage in large-scale projects and travel when necessary.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Top Coat Application.
• Design and engineering of equipment for large growth projects.
• Available to travel.

Job Description

As an Optima Solutions Application & Advanced Process Specialist, you will recognized industry expert in their field and have clear for delivering growth, leading solutions , and assuring the continuity of expertise across the Optima Solutions organization.

You will report to Technical Service Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Create value creation/value capture, proposes novel solutions based on the customers' needs.
• Work with technical and product management to ensure all new products introduced are thoroughly vetted, validated and the process mapped from an application perspective..
• Work with the customer, technical and sales team to provide product launch expertis.
• Lead internal and external teams to achieve the final agreed product specifications.
• Support cost / process mapping and value propositions; support ACTs for growth and cost reduction.
• Follow trends in the market and adapt these to provide solutions for customers.
• Ensure continuity of expertise through training globally.
• Will work with local site teams to resolve complicated crisis situations for ongoing production.
• While working regionally, you will be called upon to resolve complex situations on a global basis if following their area of expertise
  
  

Qualifications

• Engineer degree.
• 5+ years of experience in Top Coat Application.
• Robot Programming.
• Color theory, measurement, and management.
• Waste Water and Detackification Application
• Design and engineering of equipment for large growth projects.
• Develop project timeline documents, manage execution and spending for large-scale projects.
