A leading manufacturing firm in Saltillo is seeking a Team Leader to assist the team in achieving production goals and enhancing operational efficiency. This role requires a high school diploma and a minimum of 1 year of automotive industry experience. Candidates must possess supervisory skills and knowledge of quality systems. The team leader will lead, communicate effectively, and maintain a safe working environment.

Formación

LEAD DE TURNO (TEAM LEADER)

JOB SUMMARY: The team leader is responsible for helping the team achieve production goals, improve production efficiency, and ensure all aspects of the production processes are properly balanced.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain availability, respect, and commitment to immediate supervisors.
  • Positively adapt to changes required by the operational area.
  • Work as a team to meet the objectives of the productive shift.
  • Manage personnel effectively within work groups.
  • Lead by example regarding punctuality at the start of the shift.
  • Hand over and receive shift from the counterpart.
  • Participate in start-up meetings at the beginning of the shift.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Manage process changeovers.
  • Manage QRTI for building and shipping.
  • Participate in SOT safety walks.
  • Conduct first-level LPA audits.
  • Follow up and comply with LPAs, update formats, CI, CAS, PDCA Operations.
  • Manage production equipment and areas, process efficiency, and equipment efficiency.
  • Ensure workstations are functioning correctly before starting the shift.
  • Implement, maintain, and comply with the quality system requirements specified by the client and Android system.
  • Provide necessary training to operational and technical personnel.
  • Develop skills and operational capabilities on the line.
  • Evaluate operator performance.
  • Ensure PVS is filled out as required at shift start.
  • Review 5S area format completion.
  • Review autonomous maintenance form completion at shift start.
  • Identify and dispose of non-conforming material.
  • Carry out personnel rotation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, cultural policies, values, and philosophy.
  • Introduce programs to improve personnel safety.
  • Maintain plant facilities.
  • Create and maintain a healthy, conflict-free work environment.
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform any other assigned tasks.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in the automotive industry.
  • Desirable knowledge of quality systems, IATF 16949:2016, ISO 14001:2015, and customer requirements.
  • Desirable knowledge of APQP system.
  • Supervisory skills.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

TRAVEL: Travel required: minimal.

  • Ability to work in a just-in-time system.
