Overview

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Operations Supervisor located in Guadalajara, North.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Production Manager, the Operations Supervisor is responsible for effectively managing all strategic operational processes and resources and managing an organization to achieve and maintain operational excellence.
• Manage appropriate staffing and inventory levels.
• Oversee the assembly operations to meet corporate KOI.
• Supervise production staff on work methods and quality checkpoints.
• Coordinate with other departments and other Flex sites to drive for excellence.
• Coordinate efforts of the operations team by establishing procurement, production and engineering services policies and practices.
• Ensure ISO and safety standards are adhered to.
• Report to Senior Management in weekly operations reviews.
• Coach and mentor Operations team.
• Leverage industry practices and apply to internal systems and processes.
• Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

Experience and Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Experience as Operations Manager and Engineering management experience.
• Advanced English.
• Knowledge of production control systems (Serials, flows, traceability).
• Experience in electronic manufacturing.
• People management.
• Knowledge of all electronics assembly processes SMT, Test, integration and related areas.
• Proven experience interacting with all engineering support areas.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
