You will improve efficiency across departments while managing key operations staff in a dynamic remote environment. The ideal candidate has significant experience in operations management and is comfortable using modern tools to innovate workflows.

Formación

About The Role

As the Operations Manager at MDS, you will be the architect and executor of our operational backbone, focused on automating, optimizing, and scaling systems that support a dynamic team and a powerful community of 650+ high-performing e-commerce entrepreneurs.

You will oversee not just day-to-day operations, but proactively implement technical and AI-powered solutions that allow our team to move faster and smarter. You will manage key operations staff, act as the in-house systems strategist, and serve as the glue between departments to ensure everyone has the tools and infrastructure they need to succeed.

This role goes beyond traditional ops—you're here to modernize how MDS operates by wielding automations, integrations, and analytics that make us faster, leaner, and more resilient.

About You

You thrive in remote, entrepreneurial environments where every day brings new challenges. You're not just organized—you're systems-oriented. You think in workflows, love clear documentation, and can zoom between tactical execution and strategic planning.

You're fluent in ClickUp, Airtable, Make, Softr, and other modern operations tools. You are well versed in AI platforms like ChatGPT or Claude and are excited about their potential to automate repetitive work and enhance decision-making. You know how to spot inefficiencies and have the discipline and creativity to fix them.

You're resourceful, reliable, and communicate clearly. Whether it's building an SOP, automating a recurring task, or debugging a system issue, you bring structure and speed to everything you touch.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in operations or systems management within a fast-paced, remote environment
Proven experience managing operational systems, including technology infrastructure, software tools, and data workflows
Experience in community or people management is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Systems, or a related field
A Master's degree or additional qualifications in operations or tech management are a bonus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills across teams and departments
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and build strong internal and external relationships
Advanced proficiency with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and integrating them into workflows
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively with a team
Strong organizational and project management skills
Willingness to travel for business and industry events
Comfortable adapting to evolving operational needs and environments
