The Marketplace place team is dedicated to optimizing our operations. Earners and Riders are the people who connect in our marketplace - and we manage both sides, ensuring competitive pricing and accurate pick-up times for our riders, while also guaranteeing equitable earnings and optimal utilization for our drivers. Our goal is to strike the right balance between growth and profitability, and this requires judgment to make difficult trade-offs, blending algorithms with human ingenuity, and the ability to create simplicity from complexity.

What You'll Do
  • Outline, implement and manage pricing and incentives strategies and experiments
  • Monitor financial targets, marketplace health metrics and competition moves in order to develop action plans to reach our strategic goals and enable data-driven business decisions
  • Develop data analysis to support business decisions regarding growth opportunities
  • Coordinate projects with our cross-functional teams to improve processes and tools
  • Build and maintain relationships with local and global partners, assertively communicating and presenting ideas, findings and insights to assist the decision making process
  • Collaborate with Product and Ops teams to develop product launch strategies, forecasts, success metrics, and ongoing monitoring. Ensure there\'s a clear work plan and continuous alignment with stakeholders.
  • Formulate pricing and allocation strategies aligned with Core and Portfolio objectives. Integrate feedback from the Local Ops and Finance teams and consistently monitor and report on financial metrics.
  • Conduct data analysis to offer insights that foster data-driven decision-making and strategic pivots
  • Main stakeholders - the different Operations teams, Strategic Finance, Product / Product Ops
