Hitachi Energy in Reynosa is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end production in our transformer manufacturing facility. You will drive performance, safety, quality, and cost-effective delivery while partnering with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and EHS to optimize results.

You will lead lean initiatives, build and develop high-performing teams, and coach for continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 12–16 years of manufacturing/operations experience.
• Experience leading teams in a production environment.
• Strong Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement background.
• Knowledge of IEEE, UL, CSA, ISO quality and safety standards.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily manufacturing operations aligned with the ITM Management System.
• Ensure delivery targets are met across safety, quality, and production goals.
• Optimize use of labor, equipment, and materials.
• Drive a zero-incident safety culture and promote HOP principles.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Kaizen, 5S, TPM, and A3.
• Enhance operational performance, including productivity, throughput, and OEE.
• Partner cross-functionally to meet customer and compliance requirements.
• Build and develop high-performing teams through coaching and accountability.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
