A global manufacturing leader in Monterrey, Mexico, is seeking an Operations Director to oversee the operations team and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. The Operations Director provides leadership for the Nidec Millenium Facility and is responsible for the facility Operations Team(s), including EHS, HR, Finance, 3Q6S Operational Excellence, NPI, Production, Planning, Purchasing and Supply Chain Management, Warehousing, Product and Manufacturing Engineering, Service and Warranty, and Quality. This position is responsible for building and leading a team that will plan, align and execute our safety, quality, service levels and financial goals through cultivating a culture that prioritizes safety & customer excellence, action-oriented teamwork, accountability and employee development. The Nidec Millenium Facility is responsible for production operations for multiple Nidec businesses and will be accountable to each of these businesses for the key responsibilities listed above. The Operations Director position will have Direct Line reporting to these businesses and should be comfortable managing multiple SBU operations within the Millenium Facility.
