Dematic seeks a Commissioning Engineer to lead onsite commissioning of automated material handling systems. You will startup, test, troubleshoot, and validate performance with cross-functional teams at customer sites.
The role requires a strong technical owner mindset, experience with Rockwell PLCs, and the ability to travel extensively across North America and beyond. You will document results, optimize processes, and support Go‑Live activities.
Formación
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Controls, or Automation engineering.
- 5+ years in industrial automation, controls, commissioning.
- Willingness to travel 90–100% to customer sites and global assignments.
Responsabilidades
- Lead onsite commissioning for Dematic automation systems and material handling solutions.
- Perform system startup, functional testing, troubleshooting, tuning, and validation.
- Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, networks, sensors, and field devices.
- Analyze system behavior and identify root causes of commissioning issues.
- Coordinate commissioning activities with Controls Eng, Software, Electrical, Mechanical, PM, and customers.
- Maintain commissioning documentation, punch lists, test results, and issue tracking.
