Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Construction Production Planner to join our client’s Acapulco team. You will translate project plans into actionable work schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress to meet milestones on-site in Guerrero.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in production planning within construction, proficiency in MS Project or Primavera P6, and strong organizational and communication skills. This on-site role emphasizes proactive delivery in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 4+ years in production planning or scheduling within construction.
• Proven ability to develop and manage complex construction schedules.
• Proficiency with MS Project or Primavera P6 scheduling software.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and resource management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with site teams and management.
• Knowledge of Guerrero local construction practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed short-term and long-term production schedules for construction projects.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and project managers to align production plans with project objectives.
• Allocate labor, equipment, and materials to support production schedules.
• Monitor progress and identify deviations from plan.
• Implement corrective actions to address delays and optimize resources.
• Collaborate with procurement and logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Prepare regular progress reports on production status and schedule adherence.
• Identify risks and bottlenecks and develop mitigation strategies.
