OMP–S/4HANA Data Expert – Planning

Guadalajara | Hybrid (min. 3 days on-site)

We’re transforming our global supply chain, rolling out SAP S/4HANA and OMP side by side. We need a data expert who can make this integration sing—and that’s whereyoucome in!

Join AstraZeneca’s end-to-end S/4HANA transformation and help integrate OMP, the industry-leading planning suite. As an OMP–S/4HANA Data Expert – Planning, you’ll ensure that planning data standards are defined, governed and migration-ready—so planners can operate with one trusted data set from day 1.

What you’ll do
  • Define, document and secure approval for master, reference and metadata standards for Network Strategy & Supply-Chain Planning (NS&SCP).
  • Lead OMP–S/4HANA integration design workshops; translate planning processes into clean data objects and flows.
  • Assess and remediate ECC data quality to enable a smooth cut-over to S/4HANA.
  • • Prioritise data-delivery milestones; report progress to NS&SCP and programme leadership.
  • Guide change-impact assessments and create future-state data use-cases that resonate with planners.
  • Co-develop data-governance, data-quality, and cleanse-and-migrate roadmaps; steer their execution.
  • Coordinate pre- and post-load business sign-off for NS&SCP data-migration waves.
  • Ensure compliance with the S/4HANA Data Governance Framework and global AZ standards.
Essential skills & experience
  • Deep Planning / NS&SCP domain expertise; able to explain complex data topics to business users.
  • Proven track record designing and implementing enterprise-level data standards.
  • Hands-on knowledge of both OMP and S/4HANA transactions and data flows.
  • Strong influencer comfortable working across cultures and seniority levels.
  • History of delivering on large, fast-moving transformation programmes.
Desirable skills & experience
  • End-to-end S/4HANA implementation experience.
  • Life-sciences or other highly regulated-industry background.
  • Experience measuring, managing and improving data quality at scale.
