Formación

• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing is required.
• Must be a subject expert in lean / 6 sigma tools and techniques.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing leadership team. This role is pivotal in managing daily operations, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring optimal performance in line with our organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record in lean manufacturing processes.

Main responsibilities:

1. Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our internal and external customers’ expectations.
2. Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results towards sales and production plan.
3. Continuously improve metrics to improve PVQC (People, Velocity, Quality and Cost).
4. Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions.
5. Ensure safety practices and regulatory compliance.
6. Human resource focus.
7. Manage in accordance with Mexican labor laws and ensure that the personnel under facility has a high level of morale and teamwork.
8. People are AMETEK’s greatest asset and should be developed and treated as such.
9. Stay up to date with the latest production management best practices and concepts.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business preferred.
2. 3 to 5 years of supervisory/management experience in manufacturing.
3. Technical, functional, and/or leadership experience required.
4. Must have the ability to communicate clearly with colleagues on the factory floor and those in middle management.
5. Subject expert for lean / 6 sigma tools and techniques for real world application and formal training.
6. Experience with AS9100 quality system and/or FAA regulations is a plus.
7. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in Spanish and in English.
